Monday: waterfall

We checked out of the cottage. It was a nice place to stay. A part of some old farm buildings, set in a square around a central yard. Very thick walls. There were a few apartments of various sizes in the block but all were empty so we had the place to ourselves. The owners, Dawn and Ian, lived in the house opposite.

Ours was the last on the left

We drove a couple of hours to Pontarddulais where we stopped for a coffee and to buy some lunch. The on to the Comin Y Rhos car park.

We followed the trail for the Waterfalls Walk.

Welsh Oggie lunch

On the way down to the Sgwd yr Eire falls we heard Redstarts and a Wood Warbler singing.

We climbed down a lot (170) of steep steps to the falls. There were a few people down there. We walked behind the falls.
