We walked from the cottage through fields to Abereiddy Bay and then took the coast path west.
Great views of Choughs and Ravens.
There was an old hill fort. Just before Castell Coch we turned inland and went back to Abereiddy. There we heard and briefly glimpsed a Cuckoo. Then we took the coast path to Porthgain, passed the Blue Lagoon, an old slate quarry. People were jumping into the water from on high.
At Porthgain we had a good lunch in the Sloop Inn and then went further along the coast path. We spent some time with another Raven family, and then headed back inland to the cottage. There was a stone circle.
