Lots of traffic up to Cardiff, but clear after. Through Swansea and then, at the Gower Heritage Centre, we took a narrow lane for a mile up through the woods. At the top of the hill was park land and Parc le Breos country house hotel. We pushed open the heavy oak door and dinged the bell on the sideboard.
Friendly staff – the barman came from Berkeley, so we chatted about that for a bit. Food OK.
