We left The Raven in Much Wenlock and drove for a couple of hours north to Conwy. On the quay there was The Smallest House in Great Britain! It was £1.50 to get in. That didn’t seem expensive, but not good value for money either, given that it’s The Smallest House in Great Britain.
We didn’t go in. We had Welsh Rarebit for lunch in a cafe and had a look around the castle and the town walls.
We stopped at Cors Goch nature reserve. Heaths and bogs, bog plants, orchids, willow warblers, stonechats, a fleeting glimpse of a stoat.
Nice room at Lastra Farm hotel. Lobster for dinner.
