Last night we wandered around Much Wenlock after dinner and stopped for a while in the churchyard while bats flew around our heads.
Today was a glorious day for a walk. We went from The Raven to Ironbridge and back.
Quiet footpaths and lanes and gently rolling hills.
In the woods the smell of the Wild Garlic filled the air.
We had lunch in a pub in Ironbridge.
On the way back the paths were overgrown and we had to squeeze between a field of Oilseed Rape and a long path choked with Nettles.
There were some meadows.
Lots of birds today, including: Red-legged Partridge, Linnets, Yellowhammers, Willow Tits, all the other Tits, Rabbits.
